1301SW was established in June 2022. A contemporary art gallery based in Naarm/Melbourne — founded by Brian Butler (1301PE, Los Angeles) and Dominic Feuchs (Starkwhite, Auckland), with gallerist Jack Willet as Director — the gallery is a definitive home for both local and international art in Australia. Representing notable artists from contemporary and historical positions, their practices’ are explored and developed through ambitious solo presentations interspersed with contextualising group exhibitions.

1301SW acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live and work, the Bunurong People of the Kulin Nation. We pay respect to Elders past and present; and both acknowledge and uphold their continuing relationship to this land.
